The association demanded priority for ex-servicemen in government recruitment
Tamil Nadu Ex-Airmen Welfare Association, Coimbatore Unit, on Sunday demanded that the Central Government immediately implement the ‘One Rank, One Pension’ scheme for ex-servicemen.
A resolution placing this demand was passed during a general body meeting held on Sunday.
According to President G.E. Meyers and General Secretary G. Sankaran, the association also sought priority for ex-servicemen in government recruitment.

At present, the nearest empanelled hospital was at Salem.
