Case of missing woman from Unchavelampatti solved

The Coimbatore District Rural Police have cracked the case of a 24-year-old woman who went missing a few months ago.

According to the police, Sasikala (24), a resident of Unchavelampatti near Pollachi, was working at a private firm in her locality. He father lodged a complaint on October 24 that she had gone for work and did not return.

Police investigations revealed that she was reportedly involved in a love affair with one of her co-workers, who had also gone missing around the same time. The police found the co-worker, who was aged 27, and were questioning him.

It is suspected that he had killed Sasikala.

Further investigations are on to find out the location of the body and recover the weapon used to murder the victim.
