2 Manipur militants nabbed

The Delhi Police, with the assistance of the army intelligence, have arrested two militants on the charge of killing several persons, including two tribal girls. The two, members of the People's United Liberation Front (M.I. Khan group), were identified as Fazur Rahman and Rajauddin Khan. The police said they shot dead tribal girls P.S. Ishori and L.H. Esther on March 22, 2008 in Chandel district.

On December 13, 2008, they killed gram panchayat pradhan Juma Khan and Daulat Khan, a teacher. They also shot dead Kashirjan Bibi, a former gram panchayat pradhan, and Mohammed Sanayai on February 9, 2009. A police team has left Imphal to take them into custody.
