Music has no barriers and maestro Ilaiyaraaja proves it yet again by scoring music for the first time for a Marathi film.

The acclaimed composer, who has done music for films in different languages, was eager to do “Hello Jai Hind, which is based on the 26/11 terror attacks. “This is my way of paying tributes to those who lost their lives,” says the musician.

Says Trupti Bhoir, who has acted and produced the film, “I was touched when Ilaiyaraaja agreed to do the film. The modest musician even refused to take a fee. The film is a moving portrayal of the plight of the common man, particularly women when such incidents take place.”
