Loyal friend

I have recently shifted to Hyderabad from Kolkata for my education. It's been only four months in Hyderabad and my first friend in this place was YW. YW is so very loyal as it refreshes me for a whole week of tight grilling at both college and home. Tuesday has become very special as I get to meet my stupendous and fantabulous friend. YW, even in this busy schedule of mine has managed to create a small space in my heart. I promise my friend, that this friendship would be lasting forever.

Perfect student

I started my journey with YW when I was in Std. VI. My school provided us with the YW every Tuesday and as it was the day of our weekly test. I was always very excited to get YW. But as it was a test day I was nervous. But having read the YW regularly I can say that YW makes me a perfect student.

Eager reader

Four years ago my father began to buy The Hindu. But I never read the paper because it did not interest me. Then I started to get the newspaper in school. And I was forced to read the newspaper. That is how I began to read the YW. Now I am the first person to pick up the paper, especially if it is Tuesday.

Miracle worker

Young world has definitely worked miracle with me and my sister. We never had the habit of reading books or newspapers in our schooldays. We were then introduced to YW by our mom. She used to read the articles and explain them for us. This instilled in us an interest to read. Even though we have grown up and are now in college, we haven't given up the practice of reading the articles published in the editions of YW. To us YW is like an oyster that treasures in it “pearls of wisdom”.

Infotainment

My journey of reading Young World began at the age of seven. I used to wait for the young world magazine. It is a very entertaining and a informative paper. I have also participated in the young world quiz competition. Not only me but my parents too love reading Young World. Now I am in Std. IX and I still love reading young world. It has improved my vocabulary and knowledge. I have also started reading the main newspaper. I have a precious collection of the old issues of Young World. It is really a wonderful paper.

Just love it!

I remember the first day when my father bought the Hindu newspaper. At that time, I never used to read the newspaper. I used to think if we read this what will I get? Then for the first time, I read the Young World and loved it, especially the lovely short stories and puzzles. For my brother and me Young World is a good companion. We have a good collection of the old issues of Young World.

World of imagination

I feel that YW lifts me up from the harsh realities of life into the world of imagination .Experience, in its turn, makes me wiser and self- confident.

Eye catching

It was on the eve of my fifth birthday that my gaze fell upon Young World. My mum helped me read it. As she turned the pages it felt as though a new face of knowledge was unveiling itself. At that time, it was not the articles that caught my attention but the fantastic pictures, stories and games. Gradually, the informative articles also became my favourite pages. Whenever I turn the pages of the old Young Worlds that I have preserved, I think of my mom who opened the gateway of knowledge to me and my heart is grateful to Young World for enlightening, entertaining and enriching us.

Refreshing

Young World is my favourite newspaper. I first read the newspaper when I was in Std IV. My father used to tell me to read newspapers but I was not interested. One day he told me to at least just read the Young World. I read it and got very interested as it was very entertaining and informative. I like the Fun Track, YW Quiz and short stories very much. I have even made a diary to note down the YW Quiz questions. Even during exams I spend some time reading it whenever I see it. I pick it and very comfortably sit in my room and start reading it. Even if I am doing some work I take a short break and read the newspaper it refreshes my mind instantly. I love it very much.
