Blast from the past
Rajshri Productions seems to be doing the impossible. The banner, that gave films such as “Maine Pyar Kiya” and “Hum Aapke Hain Kaun”, is all set to bring back yesteryear actors Sachin Pilgaonkar and Ranjeeta as the lead in their forthcoming release “Jaana Pehchaana”. The film about a successful entrepreneur trying to come to terms with his past stars the hit duo of the 1978 movie “Ankhiyon Ke Jharokhon Se”. Three decades and some more; could this be a sequel?
We just heard that in a promotional stint for their movie “Hum Tum Aur Shabana” on Colors' India's Got Talent show, Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade kept pulling each other's leg and inciting the other to try out the act being performed. To their credit each of them tried every single thing he was asked to. What did it include? A mujra, a playing-with-fire stunt, and a complex martial arts sequence. The audience had a gala time.
The latest first look to hit tinsel town is that of “Agneepath”, Karan Johar's remake, of course. Now a lot may be said about Hrithik's revengeful eyes and blood-streaming-down-muscles look and Sanjay Dutt's bald bad man act but the one thing that stood out in this action-packed trailer was Rishi Kapoor's get-up. He is reportedly playing Mithun Chakraborty's role from the original film but reports suggest he is playing one of the villains. With kohl-lined eyes, a karakul cap and kurta-pyjama, Rishi looks every bit the Muslim character he is required to play. It was apparently the first time the veteran actor insisted on a look test!
