A sound eater, Sherlyn Chopra reveals how she maintains her lean figure and toned body, “I simply watch what I eat. After consuming something unhealthy, I immediately feel very guilty about letting myself slip which restrains me from committing the misdeed again”. Although quite a foodie, Sherlyn loves to eat homemade food and describes it as the best way to take care of her body.
The co-host of “MTV Splitsvilla 6” reveals, “I don’t get enough time to sleep. Working out is a distant thought on most days. During a hectic work schedule, I only get to sleep for two hours at times”. With much regret she explains, “This not only keeps me from a disciplined way of leading my life but also makes it harder to stay fit. My body gets swollen and I lose my appetite”. So, she does what she can and that is eating her meals on time.
Having undergone cosmetic surgery, Sherlyn isn’t against the idea of using modern science to enhance one’s physical appearance. She elaborates, “People say that we should be satisfied with what God has given us. But if we are not? What is the harm in falling back on new technology to help us gain more self-confidence and feel good about ourselves?”
On the much debated subject of dieting through supplements, Sherlyn opines, “I am nobody to preach anyone but I am strongly against supplements. After all, they are replacements to real and organic food and cannot comprise the nutrients, fruits and vegetables contain. They can never provide a source of nourishment that is comparable to fresh eatables and so I would never indulge in it.”
The actor, who would soon be seen in Kamasutra 3D is also quite fond of fresh juices. “Fresh fruit juice with no added sugar, that considers the needs of the calorie-conscious and fitness loving persons, is ideal.”
