Gone are the days when a north-Indian wedding meant a coy bride decked up like a Christmas tree floating through the ceremonies with her eyes surfing the ground.

The new age bride is no stranger to experimenting with unusual colours and fabrics on the D-day.

Here’s a glimpse of Bridal Asia 2009 that was held in Delhi from September 19-21. The show tried to capture different sides of the contemporary bride who has a personality of her own.
