Eating a nutrient-rich, yet delicious meal is challenging when you are at work. And starvation is not the answer. Feeding your body with a good amount of energy and high-quality nutrition is important at all times. What can give you a more nutritious, portable and delicious meal than a smoothie?

Smoothies are an amazing combination of pretty much anything! You can put just about anything in that blender and blend it until it is smooth and creamy. If you are not a smoothie expert yet, then here are recipes for three that will wake up every cell in your body, and give you the nutritional punch you need.

Mango Lassi

Mangoes in India are amazing, and they come in different flavors and aromas. They are not just high in Vitamin C, Vitamin k, fiber and protein; they are pretty much your summer elixir drink. Replacing buttermilk with nut milk, this recipe is friendly for vegans, lactose intolerant people and just healthier!

Ingredients: 2- 3 Mangos, ripened, 1 Banana, ripened, 1 Tbsp Honey, 1 cup nut milk (almond, cashew or soy), ½ Tsp sea salt

Method: Using a high-speed blender, blend all the ingredients above until smooth and creamy

Pistachio bliss

Pistachios have a unique flavor and taste. They are rich, nutty and delicious. They are well know for their anti-oxidant properties being rich in essential nutrients; high in Vitamin E,oleic acid, Vitamin A, magnesium and more. These combined with some delicious tropical fruits..is basically heaven in a cup.

Ingredients: 1 cup milk or almond milk, ¾ cup pistachios, shelled, 1 cup strawberries, 3-4 medjool dates, 1 Tsp cardamom powder, ½ Tsp vanilla bean

Method: Using a high-speed blender, blend all the ingredients until smooth and creamy

Coffee walnut

Ingredients: 100 ml coffee (pre-made), 1-cup milk or nut milk, 1 Banana, ripened, ¾ cup walnuts, soaked, 2-3 medjool dates, ½ tsp sea salt

Method: First make a small batch of coffee. You can also you an espresso shot for this purpose. Allow it cool down for a few minutes. Transfer all ingredients into the blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. Ssoak walnuts overnight for this recipe
