It’s a trend that Jane Fonda began. Now it’s Bollywood actor, Bipasha Basu’s turn to launch her fitness DVD and a special clothing line to complement the fitness routine.

How is her DVD any different from the others? “Well I’ve seen many fitness DVDs but not one of them is great. In fact those DVDs would cause panic in an amateur because the work outs are really complicated and difficult. When I started working out I had no knowledge and ended up damaging my knees. Then I started reading about fitness, saw DVDs and have been training intensively for six years,” she said. As an extra her DVD will have a host of other celebrities giving their take on fitness. “I am sure people would want to know what their favourite stars think,” said Basu. In case people thought this was it, Basu hastens to add that she will soon begin work on her signature prêt clothing line. And she certainly isn’t thinking small. “I’m eyeing all the big fashion houses in India and internationally too.”
