Where’s the fire?

Published - December 16, 2013 06:34 pm IST

“Where did the sound come from?” someone asked. We were all trembling. A strange, loud noise was heard by us all. “Maybe it’s a monster,” someone suggested. “Maybe something went wrong in one of the science labs,” said another.

We came to know that it had come from the chemistry lab and went there. Nothing could be seen. There was water and foam everywhere. Students were standing outside and we were all scared. In the end we came to know what had happened. A “brave” student was egged on by his classmates to open the fire extinguisher. And he had done so to prove a point. It isn’t a thing with which we are supposed to play. We still haven’t gotten over this strange act.
