Space mission

Five astronauts were all set to go to space. They were Shan, Sam, Zen, Shras and Reck. Sam was the leader while Shan and Reck were weather reporters. The countdown began—10,9,8,....3,2,1—and they were off.

After travelling for several hours, Captain Sam asked the team to locate the moon. Shras screamed excitedly, “See, that's the moon!” Shan confirmed. “Oh yes! She's right, that's the moon.”

They landed on the moon. Sam told the crew to collect samples and return quickly. Everyone returned, except Shras. Captain Sam was worried. He decided that they couldn’t return to earth without Shras. The crew were worried about Shras’ safety. Just then, Shan saw a piece of electronic paper nearby and showed it to the others. Zen decoded the message—it was from the aliens— "We have detained a member of your crew in exchange for the samples you took from us."

There was a map with a spot marked on it. Reck said that it was probably the place where they would find Shras. They set off to rescue her. They located the place and went to the spot. They found many aliens. They fought with them and in the end, the crew won. After a long search, they found Shras unconscious with an iron rod in her hand. Another electronic paper there warned them not to remove the rod from her hand. If the rod was removed before she gained consciousness, she would turn into an alien. Shras was carried to the spaceship and Reck tried to treat her with the medical expertise he had acquired during his training. At last, Reck succeeded in helping her regain consciousness. After this, they returned safely to earth.

When all the samples were sent for research, it was confirmed that the samples were from Mars and not moon. Though the expedition was to have been to the moon, they had landed on Mars! The expedition created ripples in the newspapers and space journals.
