Not a bore!

Many people that I know think of History and Geography as boring subjects. I don’t understand why, even after three years of studying these subjects, many students still feel so. History has been my favourite subject since Grade V. Recently, there was a Social Studies exhibition in my school and I participated in the History category along with a few friends. The stalls were absolutely fabulous and students had worked hard on making models of India Gate, Harappan civilisation and the pyramids of Giza. The pyramids were fantastic! They were given the first prize and they deserved it. The presentation was flawless and my friends could hardly stop talking about it!

The presentation on the pyramids actually made me long to visit them. If they look so majestic when they’re made from cardboard and thermocol, they must be great in real life!

My friends and I didn’t have enough time to visit the exhibitions in the Geography category, but I’m sure it was just as good. Now I dare you to say it’s boring!
