I would like to share with you an interesting event conducted by ‘Britannia’, a singing competition at Deens Academy, Bangalore.
Seven of us were a part of this event. The topic was countryside singing. I had a dual role — I sang and played the piano.
We had to dress up in checked shirts, blue jeans, broad belts and wear cowboy hats.
We gave our best performance and won the first prize. Thanks to Mr. Max, our music teacher, who taught us “Okie from Muskogee”.
Our Principal gave us Britannia biscuits as a gift.
