The 110 year Sri Ramanavami mahotsavam, organised by Srirama Bhajanai Mandiram, Kaettavarampalayam, will be held from today to April 24. The 10-day utsavam includes Veda parayanam, laksharchanai, discourses, music concerts, samaradhanai and Divyanama bhajans. Sita kalyanam will be performed on April 22 and Sri Rama Pattabisheka utsavam will take place next day morning. The portrait of the deity will taken out in a procession in the evening. The fest concludes with Anjaneya utsavam on April 24.
How to reach : Kaettavarampalayam via Adhamangalam, is situated in Tiruvannamalai district, 18 km from Polur, off Polur-Tiruvannamalai highway and on the Polur-Veeralur bus route. Overseeing the village is a temple for Alamelu Mangai Thayar Samedha Sri Prasanna Venkatesa Perumal, which is located three km away from the place.
