It was an interesting sight at The Music Academy during the 18-day music festival. Normally pigeons make the top floors of high rise buildings their home. But here was a special guest, in the form a parrot.
Perching itself on the sill of the ventilators the bird would keep pecking at the closed glass window, demanding entry into the auditorium. After a few attempts it would fly away only to come back and try again but all in vain. Finally the parrot would retire to its nest in the tree opposite to the building.
This happened on all the 15 days of the festival around 4.30 p.m., the time of the main concert. “May be it is a vidwan or a rasika who is no more and haunting the venue,” observed a friend.
