Tirupati boy bags All India 8th rank in IIT-JEE

K. Sai Priyatham, a student of Sri Chaitanya educational institutions, Tirupati, bagged the All India 8th rank in the IIT-JEE 2012, the results of which were announced last Friday.

He was followed by P.Jagadeesh Babu (39th rank), N.Venkatesh (310), G.Ajay Kumar (670) and S.Bharat Kumar (754) of the same college. According to Assistant General Manager B.V.Prasad, Sai Priyatham (H.T. 6058246) was among the few students to take IIT coaching from the institute and emerge successful.

Son of K.T. Madhava Murthy, a Sanskrit lecturer in the same college and K.Nirmala, a housewife, Priyatham has always been among the toppers. He has now set his eyes on taking up B. Tech Computer Science course at IIT Bombay, which he rates as the top. Deans K.L.G. Prasad and Rammohan Rao congratulated him on his accomplishment.

Similarly, five students of Murliraos institutions bagged All India ranks from the single branch in Tirupati. Chairman P.Murali Rao congratulated N.Nikhil Sai Teja (771st rank), V.Swetha (3129), V.Mohan Krishna (5641), K.R. Asthana and G.Ranjit Kumar. Narayana group Chief Executive Officer V.Pattabhirami Reddy expressed joy at 30 students from the Tirupati zone getting qualified in IIT-JEE.
