Tanuvas offers certificate courses

The Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (Tanuvas) has invited candidates to submit filled-in applications for eight certificate courses offered through distance education mode by July 29.

An official release from the Directorate of Extension Education said that Tamil would be the medium of instruction and the duration is mostly six months, but for goat farming (three months).

The course fee ranges from Rs.220 to Rs.1,020.The courses offered are livestock products technology, animal feed mill management, fodder production, Japanese quail production, Turkey farming, dairy farming, goat farming and livestock and poultry farm manager.

The eligibility criteria for the first two courses are Plus Two and tenth standard for the last course.

For the rest of the courses it is eighth standard.
