The city is experiencing a weather which makes a cup of coffee preferable to a cup of ice cream. But those who love ice creams will choose to ignore the weather.

Thanks to this, ice cream parlours are doing good business even at this time of the year. One of them is La Cream, located at Corporation Shopping Complex, 3rd Cross Street, R.A. Puram. Opened a year ago, this ice cream parlour offers a range of ice creams. “Our products are hundred per cent natural without any preservatives. We like to spread happiness through our products and what better way of doing it than by serving desserts that are natural and organic,” says R. Maniraj, who along with his brother R. Ammaihraj runs the outlet.

They have been in the hospitality business for some time now and this ice cream parlour was started to complement their restaurant, which is located in the same complex.

“The flavours we serve are Wild berry, lychee, ginger lemon, orange choco and hazelnut. We also serve fruits with ice cream. We also serve a range of faloodas. Our cookie-flavoured ice cream, Biscotinno, is very popular,” he says.

The prices range from Rs 90 to Rs. 150.

La Cream, open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., is located at 6/16, Corporation Shopping Complex, 3rd Cross Street, R.A. Puram.
