Salony, a promising theatre artist, who already has two Bollywood movies in her bag, is all set to make her debut in Tamil Cinema with Sarabam . The film is a suspense thriller, which is directed by Arun Mohan and produced by C.V. Kumar, who is well-known for backing novel ideas.
Despite being a trained theatre actor, she had to audition for the role, “Once I listened to the script, I understood how my character had several dimensions to her.
I didn’t want to miss this opportunity.” Salony is impressed with the work-ethic of the young team. Talking about her Naveen Chandra, she says, “The hero Naveen Chandra is such a supportive and encouraging co-star.” Sarabam is said to be a film that could be tagged along with films such as Ragini MMS.
