What they say

Producer Shiva G.: Actually, it was my brother and his friends who decided to produce the film. Then they wanted me to step in. And now I am handling the production. When the director narrated to me the story, I felt it would be a good science fiction movie. The film is shot in Malaysia.

Director P.K. Rhaj: I teach direction and cinematography at the University of Malayasia and at the Malaysian Film Development Corporation’s institute. I have done six documentaries and four feature films in Malaysia. In Tamil, I have done a film on Adivasis titled The Trap. It got the national award from the Malaysian government. Goutham Gani Grace is a sci-fi movie and I felt that director K. Bhagyaraj will suit the role of a scientist. He has done a remarkable job. The film features four villains.

Hero K. Bhagyaraj: When director Rhaj told me about the film and his decision to cast me in the role of a scientist, I was a little apprehensive. I wondered if I would fit the role. But he was certain. So I agreed. I took efforts to get the scientific terms and explanations right. I feel the film has been handled well.

Music director Adish Uthriyan: I am a guitarist and have been playing for various music directors and was also with the UAA troupe for some time. I received the best music director award from the South Indian Artists Association in 1991. I have scored the music for 25 short and documentary films, almost 100 serials and 11 feature films.

Music Highlights: There are five songs in the album and each has its own flavour. ‘Azhago Azhagu’ sung by Madhu Balakrishnan is a melodious number. ‘Mereh Mereh’ by Yasin and Priya Prakash is another enchanting number. Yasin renders two solo songs besides singing ‘Cinappeneh’ with Kamalaja.
