What they say…
Producer and director Elayadevan: I come from Enamkiliyoor in Tiruvarur District. I began writing poetry at age 7. I left my home at the age of 13 and tried my hand at various jobs. I eventually landed in Chennai testing my luck in cinema as an assistant director. But I was unsuccessful. After a few years I decided to produce my own movie and started a company in my mother’s name Thangammal Movie Makers. Gnana Kirukkan is the story of my own life. The film has been completed and I am eager for its early release.
Hero Jega: I am pursuing a course in civil engineering at Sathyabama University in Chennai. Director Elayadevan invited me to audition for the lead role in Gnana Kirukkan and that’s how I landed the role. It’s my debut and I hope I have done justice to the character I play.
Music director Tajnoor: This is my seventh film in Tamil, besides one film in Telugu. Director Elayadevan heard my compositions in Vamsam, my first film, and asked me to compose the music for Gnana Kirukkan . After Vamsam , I scored the music for Ethan , Ayiram Muthangaludan Thenmozhi and now I am busy with Adithalam, Swasame , Mallukattu, Athuvera Ethuvera, Gatham Gatham and a couple of Telugu movies. I am happy that the audio of Gnana Kirukkan is receiving a good response from various quarters.
