March 25, 2010 11:02 pm | Updated November 18, 2016 08:16 pm IST - NEW DELHI:

Eyeing good growth in the luxury car market, Tata Motors on Thursday said it would be opening new dealerships for its premium car brand Jaguar Land Rover in other locations to boost its sales.

“It has been nine months since we opened our first store and we hope to touch 250 units of Jaguar and Land Rover by this month-end,” Tata Motors President (Passenger Car) Rajiv Dube told journalists after opening a new JLR dealership here.

“We opened our first store in Mumbai about nine months ago and have seen an encouraging response from customers. Delhi is our second outlet and we hope to expand the JLR network to other cities soon.

“In the next fiscal, we will open dealerships in other cities including Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai and Ludhiana,” he said.
