Maruti launches refreshed Wagon R

Maruti Suzuki, on Monday, introduced a refreshed version of its Wagon R, with a price tag of Rs. 3.58 lakh (ex—showroom Delhi).

Although the new Wagon R would be costlier by about Rs. 10,000 across variants when compared to the outgoing version, it would be more fuel efficient by 8 per cent at 20.51 kmpl.

“The changes introduced are in line with the customer feedback received through our regular engagement programmes,” Maruti Suzuki India Vice President (Marketing) Manohar Bhat said in a statement.

The car, which comes with new exteriors and interiors, would be available at Rs. 3.58 lakh for the base variant, Rs. 3.88 lakh for the mid-level and Rs. 4.13 lakh for the top-end variant. The CNG version is priced at Rs. 4.42 lakh, the company said.
