The provisional winning price for pan-India broadband wireless access (BWA) spectrum on Saturday crossed Rs. 9,800 crore after completion of 82 rounds. With this, the government's assured revenue from BWA auction is now touching almost Rs. 30,000 crore, while it had already earned over Rs. 67,700 crore from the just concluded 3G spectrum auction. The most-valued telecom circles continue to be Mumbai (Rs. 1,633 crore), followed by Delhi (Rs. 1,591 crore), Tamil Nadu (Rs. 1,461 crore), Karnataka (Rs. 1,156 crore), Maharashtra (Rs. 915 crore) and Andhra Pradesh (Rs. 903 crore).
