Second version of Tenneti's biography released

The updated biography on Tenneti Viswanadham throws light on his spiritual and religious side.

The second and updated edition of the biography of Dr. late Tenneti Viswanadham was released on last week at a special function held at the Public Library in Visakhapatnam. Visakhapatnam Steel Plant Chairman-cum-Managing Director P.K. Bhishnoi attended and released the book.

The director, speaking on the occasion, said that it was because of Tennetiji the dreams of Vizagites got fulfilled. It was because of him, thousands got permanent employment.

Another few thousand stay connected with the steel plant.

Tennetiji was a visionary. If the capacity of the plant and its production could go increasing as per plan, Vizagites could go on reaping the benefits. Former Chairman of Bar Council of India and Mayor D.V. Subbarao and A.U. Rector, Prof. A. Prasanna Kumar who happen to be members of the Tenneti Memorial Committee which got the second edition printed, also attended and spoke.

Prasanna Kumar in particular reviewed the contents of the recent edition. He informed that the biography running into 650 pages stands equipped with little over four scores of photos.

The articles this time have been contributed by close associate of Tenneti, Doorvasula Bhaskara Murty, it covers Tenneti's religious and spiritual spheres of activtiy in addition to literary, his stay at Sabarmati Asram, his probe into Vedas, the Rigveda in particular, Esanopanishad, Gandhiji, Tatwamasi, Santhi Asram etc.
