Ajay Devgn

Concerned about kids

After impressing adults with his Golmaal 3 , Ajay Devgn is targeting both grown-ups and kids with his forthcoming flick, the animated Toonpur Ka Superhero . But having discovered his magic box office formula — comedy — Ajay doesn't want to let go of it easily. He says sagaciously, “ Toonpur can be classified as a comedy.”

Ajay, who became a father the second time recently, is concerned about today's children. “They are under constant pressure to perform well in studies,” laments the star, “Even on Sundays they have tuitions. When I ask my nephews to come out, they say, ‘No, we have tuitions'. I'm lucky my daughter has still not reached that stage.”

Sweating it out

Where fitness is concerned, Tusshar Kapoor tried but couldn't go Kareena's way. No, we aren't talking about Tusshar becoming size zero, but about how the Golmaal 3 actor learnt how tough Kareena's workout schedule is.

It happened during the shooting of Golmaal 3 — Tusshar's personal trainer Pramod didn't turn up for a couple of days and he was at sea about what regimen to follow. Tusshar had seen co-star-cum-friend Kareena doing power yoga, so he agreed when one fine day Kareena asked him to join her for the yoga session.

The result, in Tusshar's own words, had him “Sweating like anything.” Letting out a deep breath, the actor says: “I could just see water and only water around me.”

No Rajinikanth in Dhoom 3

The Rajini fever has reached its peak post- Robot . But, his fans who would have loved to see their action hero pack some more punches in the pacy Dhoom 3 are in for a disappointment.

Reports had it that Rajinikanth had been approached for a pivotal role in Dhoom 3 , but the Yash Raj Films spokesperson contradicts, “While Yash Raj Films has the utmost respect for the actor, the truth is that no such plans have been made. The script has not yet been finalised and casting will be decided later.”

‘Bigg Boss 3' reunion

Designer Rohit Verma's birthday celebrations proved an occasion for a ‘Bigg Boss 3' reunion. Many of those who appeared on the show, including Poonam Dhillon (with daughter Paloma Dhillon), Ismail Darbar, Raju Srivastav and Vindoo Dara Singh, turned up to wish Rohit.

What's more, in keeping with the “Red Carpet” theme of the party, Rohit's friends walked in sporting formal gowns and suits. But the most striking was Rohit himself — he wore a red gown and accessorised it with red feathers!

Neha turns singer

Sultry Neha Dhupia seems game for new ventures — take the actor's willingness to do different films such as Mithya or go behind the song-recording mic for the forthcoming Phas Gaye Re Obama.

Neha tries hard to conceal her excitement at becoming a recording artiste. “I have just rapped a portion for the title song,” she attempts to brush it off lightly. But her enthusiasm is evident. “It was fascinating to hear my voice being played while we were shooting the song,” marvels Neha. “I never thought I would be able to sing, but my director's faith in me helped me pull it off. Everyone was like ‘Oh God, Neha, you've become a singer!'”
