Sumit Nagal loses Challenger semifinals

Sumit Nagal lost 6-4, 6-1 to Juan Pablo Ficovich of Argentina in the semifinals of the $54,160 Challenger tennis tournament here.

Sumit, who had won the Challenger last week in Buenos Aires to reach a career best rank of 35, collected 29 ATP points and $2,510.

In the Challenger in Barcelona, Ramkumar Ramanathan and Sergio Martos Gornes of Spain lost in the final to Simone Bolelli of Italy and David Vega Hernandez of Spain.
