Snehadevi shines for India

Snehadevi Reddy won both her singles and doubles matches as India put up a good show against the US in the IC Challenge World junior tennis finals in Adelaide, Australia, on Thursday. The Indian under-16 team drew 3-3 with the US, as Fatehdeep Singh won his singles 6-3, 6-4 against Yancy Dennis.

The result: India drew with US 3-3 (Fatehdeep Singh bt Yancy Dennis 6-3, 6-4; Shashank Nautiyal lost to Brian Tsao 7-6, 4-6, 5-10; Snehadevi Reddy bt Ndinda Ndunda 4-6, 6-3, 10-5; Rimpledeep Kaur lost to Raveena Kingsley 6-0, 2-6, 5-10; Fatehdeep Singh and Shashank Nautiyal lost to Yancy Dennis and Brian Tsao 6-7, 2-6; Snehadevi Reddy and Rimpledeep Kaur bt Ndinda Ndunda and Raveena Kingsley 6-2, 7-5).
