Sania Mirza and Shaui Zhang of China lost 3-6, 6-3, [10-8] to Greet Minnen and Alison Van Uytvanck of Belgium in the doubles quarterfinals of the €189,708 WTA tennis tournament here.

In the Challenger in France, fourth seeds Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan and Purav Raja missed two match points in the doubles semifinals, and were beaten 4-6, 7-6(7), [10-8] by the Dutch pair of Bart Stevens and Tim Van Rijthoven.
