Jeevan & Krajicek lose Challenger tennis

Jeevan Neduncehzhiyan and Austin Krajicek of the US lost 7-6(5), 6-1 in the doubles final of the € 127,000 Challenger tennis tournament here on Saturday.

In the ATP Tour event in Netherlands, Divij Sharan and Artem Sitak of New Zeaalnd lost 6-3, 6-2 in the semifinals to Raven Klaasen and Michael Venus.

Prarthana Thombare continued her superb run in the $100,000 ITF women’s event in Manchester and reached the final with Thailand’s Luksika Kumkhum, saving two matchpoints for a 15-13 victory in the super tie-break over British girls Harrie Dart and Katy Dunne.

$100,000 ITF women, Manchester, Britain: Semifinals: Luksika Kumkhum (Tha) & Prarthana Thombare bt Harrie Dart & Katy Dunne (GBR) 5-7, 6-1, [15-13] .
