Chirag Duhan moves into second round

Chirag Duhan beat Aryan Giri of Nepal 6-0, 6-3 in the boys’ first round of the second Asian under-14 tennis here on Monday.

The other two Indian boys, top seed Udit Gogoi and the sixth seed Aman Dahiya had a bye in the first round.

In the girls’ section, Kristi Boro lost 6-4, 6-3 to Lok Shu Tang of Hong Kong in the first round, in which Renne Singla and Sanjana Sirimalla had byes.
