Pune’s Arjun Kadhe has been awarded the third wildcard by the organisers of the ATP 250 Tata Open Maharashtra. Kadhe had beaten India No. 2 Ramkumar in the $ 50,000 KPIT-MSLTA Challenger recently.

India’s top-two ranked players in the ATP list — Prjanesh Gunneswaran and Ramkumar — are the other wildcard recipients for the tournament to be played at the Mhalunge Balewadi Stadium, Pune from Dec. 31 to Jan. 5.

Last year’s finalists, World No. 30 Gilles Simon (France) and World No. 6 Kevin Anderson (South Africa) have also entered the tournament.
