Trevor kept Sir Cecil a handy third behind Star Superior as Poseidon set the pace till 600m coming into the home stretch. Trevor gave two reminders and his steed responded tremendously to overtake Star Superior and win in a facile manner. Credit must be given to Padmanabhan for keeping his ward in pink condition.
