About 450 horses are expected to participate in the 20-day Mysore season commencing here on Aug. 18. The races will end on Oct. 23.
The newly elected Chairman K. A. Muddappa Urs told newspersons that a total stake amount of Rs 5, 37, 50,275 will be offered with 10 per cent increase on an average of all the categories for the season.
The track has been maintained in good condition.
