Vikram in final

September 21, 2019 09:15 pm | Updated 09:15 pm IST - LONDON (Canada)

Top seed Vikram entered the final of the Nash Cup squash, a PSA challenger event here late on Friday.

Vikram defeated fourth seed Leonel Cardenas of Mexico 7-11, 11-7, 11-4, 11-6 in the semifinals. The Indian lost the first game before regaining the winning touch. Interestingly, when the two met the previous time in another tournament a year ago, Vikram had struggled over five games before emerging the winner.

In the title-match, Vikram will play second seed Auguste Dussourd of France, an opponent whom he has never met before.
