The Karnataka State Tenpin Bowling Association (KSTBA), under the auspices of the Tenpin Bowling Federation (India), has taken up the task of hosting the fifth National tenpin bowling team championship and the 24th senior National tenpin bowling championship at the Blu-O centre here. While the team nationals will be held from December 11 to 16 the Open Nationals commence will be from December 17 to 20.
Canara Bank, Bank of Maharashtra and Accident Relief Care (ARC) are the three main sponsors for the championships.
101 players (75 men and 26 women) from 12 States will figure in the team championships, which will have events in women’s doubles, men’s doubles, mixed doubles, trios and team of five to be played on the first six days.
Karnataka is the favourite this time too for the title with Tamil Nadu and Delhi being strong challengers.
