Tenpin bowling: Karnataka clinches Champion Team title

With five gold medals, three silvers and three bronzes, Karnataka clinched the Champion Team title for the fifth consecutive time in the Canara Bank National tenpin bowling championship at the Blu-O here on Sunday.

The results:All events: Men: 1. Dhruv Sarda (Del), 4995; 2. Shabbir Dhankot (TN), 4820; 3. Akash Ashok (Kar), 4741. Women: 1. Prathima Hegde (Kar), 4466; 2. Sabbena Saleem (TN), 4389; 3. Aishwarya Rao (Kar) 4259.

Mixed Team of Five: 1. Karnataka, 5738; 2. Tamil Nadu, 5708; 3. Delhi, 5586. Champion Team: 1. Karnataka; 2. Delhi; 3. Tamil Nadu.
