Abhijeet takes sole lead

Top seed Abhijeet Gupta beat M. Karthikeyan in 32 moves in the fifth round of the Commonwealth chess championship here on Friday, and grabbed the sole lead after Niaz Murshed, the other overnight leader, surrendered in 42 moves to Deep Sengupta.
