So be sure to join us tomorrow morning at 8.30 a.m. IST! Goodnight!

Plenty of athletics coming up tomorrow, so England will fancy their chances of challenging India's current position.

Right, we're quitting for the day on a high. Fairly good day for India, winning 6 gold. Three gold in shotting, two in weightlifting and one in wrestling. Big story of the day was Gagan Narand beating the fancied in the men’s 10m individual air rifle event for gold.

22.10: Medal standings - Australia on top with 21 gold, India second with 11, England third with 6 gold.

Dilbag surely rode on crowd support. Loud, rowdy and pumped. Not that's a good crowd.

22.05: Dilbag wins it. He bows to the crowd and exits. We are still in the qualification rounds, so a long way to go before he fights for a medal.

22.02: Latu needs a knockout now. No way is he winning on points, down 3-19

22.00: Dilbag lands one and Latu on the floor! He gets up after the count of 7.

21.59: End of the second round and Dilbag Singh is running away with the bout.

21.57: Both boxers throwing the kitchen sink. But Dilbag lands the punches while Latu swings wildly. 9-0 to Dilbag.

6-0 now..

21.56: Dilbag lands a hard left and that shakes up Latu. Dilbag leads 4-0 in the second round.

21.55: The crowd go absolutely wild every time Dilbag scores a point. Very Gladiator/This is Sparta type scenes here..

Dilbag Singh gets the first point and the crowd loves it.

21.52: Enter the boxing ring. Dilbag Singh against Latu from Tonga.

21.48: Not too sure what happened there, but India win 4-1 and move to the last 16 of the mixed team event.

21.47: And just like that, it's over! Dutta-Machimanda concede!

21.42: Women's doubles now. Jwala Dutta and Machimanda in the final match of the tie. India have already won the 5-match tie at 4-0 , this is just a formality.

21.40: Unfortunately there is no post match interview with the players. So no Scottish accent. No worries, I'll do my own Scottish accent. G'day mate! No wait, that's Australian.

21.36: Rupesh Kumar-Sanave Thomas win the match. 4-0 to India against Scotland in this mixed team event.

21.34: Pressure is on. 19-15 to India as a volunteer comes on court to mop away the sweat. Slightly gross that I'm mentioning this.

21.32: 17-13 to India

21.30: India back in the lead at 14-11. Their opponents giving it their all. Paul Van Reitvelde just dived like Roddick at the net to retrieve the ball. Good effort, but Thomas smashes the ball to win the point.

21.39: Sizeable crowd in to watch this match. Makes such a big difference in creating a pumped up atmosphere.

Am I the only one who loves the Scottish accent? I do a pretty mean imitation just so you know..

21.25: Score tied at 9-9

21:22: The Scots have pulled things back a bit, India still lead 6-4.

21.20: Thomas-Rupesh have won the first set, lead 3-0 in the second

Oh, I'm Ashwin Achal. Taking over till the end of the day.

The Scottish pair is Paul Van Reitvelde and Watson Briggs..

Malawi trouncing India in netball. The score-line 82-26 there. Never seen this game for more than 10 mins before and it does look a bit like basketball.

Just got information that Narang, earlier in the day, had shot a perfect 600 in the qualification to the individual 10 mtr air rifle event. That means that he had equalled his own record.

Some quotes from CWG Federation chief Michael Fennel. PTI has this report:

“The atmosphere in the Games Village is extremely positive. Representatives are relishing the facilities there, esecially the training and practice facilities...the best facilities I have seen anywhere at any Games I have been to so far,” Fennel said at his morning media conference.

12:27 Luczak takes an early lead and sees a slight opening in the Bopanna serve but Bopanna comes up with a huge serve to save the break point. But Luczak isn't fazed and come back again and breaks Bopanna. Luczak leads 3-1 in the first set.

12:16 Rohan Bopanna in action against Peter Luczak of Australia. Luczak, seeded second behind Devvarman, is the favourite but Bopanna is coming off a good run which also included his heroic performance in the Davis Cup. It is one game apiece in the first set.

Narang gets his second gold of the Games but Bindra settles for the silver.

12:08 Narang gets gold in 10 mtr air rifle individual shooting event. Bindra claims silver.

Bindra shoots 10.7 to Narang's 10.3. Wondering whether it's too big a lead to eat into at this stage of the game.

The commentator says "whatever Bindra can do, Narang can do better". That seems to be the verdict as Narang is holding on to his lead.

Narang has 651.9 points, Bindra has 645.3 points and Huckle has 643.2 points

Narang has 630.8 points. Bindra has 625.3 points and Parr has 623.1 points.

Narang, at this point, is holding a commanding lead with Bindra and England's Parr occupying the next two positions.

11:46 Teei has opener her account in the match. Sania now leads 4-2 in the second set.

It is Brittany Teei and not Brittany Teel. Apologies for that. Meanwhile, Sania has just held her serve to love to race into a 2-0 lead.

11:26 Sania is up and running in the second set as well and she breaks the opponents serve immediately.

11:20 Sania wins the first set 6-0 against Brittany Teel.

Some men's doubles action between India and Wales in the mixed team badminton event. No let up from the Indians. They have taken the first set 21-17.

By my recknoning, if they win the men's doubles, the next two games against Wales become dead runners (remember India are leading 2-0 against Wales).

Manoj Kumar gets a walkover and qualifies to the semi-finals of the men's 84 kg Greco-Roman event.

And he's qualified to the finals of the men's 55 kg Greco-Roman category.

Joshua McLeod of Trinidad wins the fourth heat. Trinidad, infact, finishes 1-2-3 in the fourth heat. An Indian - Anshul Kothari - finishes seventh.

Mohamed Kamal of SIngapore wins the third heat. Just under 53 seconds. I wonder whether I could run 100 mtrs in under 53 seconds.

There's a total of seven heats in the men's 100 mtr freestyle.

Mangroo from Seychelles wins the second heats in the men's 100 mtr freestyle. In a blanket finish Mangroo just finished ahead of two other competitiors.
