If the crash on Saturday was weighing on his mind, Nabil Jeffri's face did not reveal anything. He started from pole — as the winner of the first race — and once again led right up to the finish in the third race of the JK Racing Asia Series 2012 at the Sepang International Circuit on Sunday.
His Eurointernational team-mate Aston Hare gave Jeffri a good run for his money. Hare, driving at a good pace, was quickly catching up with the Malaysian. But, Jeffri held on to finish 0.952 seconds ahead of Hare.
Danial Hidzir of Eurasia Motorsports was third.
In the fourth race, Hare, who started from pole on the basis of his victory in the second race on Saturday, took the top spot.
Jeffri, who started from sixth place in the grid, finished second clocking the fastest time in quite a few of the 10 laps.
Jeffri was delighted with his victory and praised his team for providing a superb car despite the damaged in Saturday's crash.
At the end of race four of JKRAS, Hare is the overall leader with 67 points, closely followed by Jeffri with 62.
Had Jeffri not crashed in race two, things could have been different for the Malaysian.
The series next moves to Europe for the first time where races five and six will be held at the Paul Ricard circuit in France.
