Tamil Nadu, Railways makes it to the last four of senior National women’s football

Kamala Devi slotted in six goals as Railways thrashed Himachal Pradesh 12-0 in the quarterfinals of the senior National women’s football here on Thursday.

A brace each by R. Ranjitha and R. Pandiselvi enabled Tamil Nadu defeat Madhya Pradesh 4-2.

The remaining quarterfinals will take place on Friday with Odisha facing Arunachal Pradesh and Jharkhand taking on Manipur.

The results (quarterfinals): TN 4 (R. Ranjitha 2, R. Pandiselvi 2) bt MP 2 (Radhika Manji 16, Jyoti Chouhan 55).

Railways 12 (Kamala Devi 6) bt Himachal Pradesh 0.
