Peter Reid is Mumbai City manager

Mumbai City Football Club have signed up ex-England international Peter Reid as manager and Steve Darby as assistant coach for the Indian Super League.

While Darby was Mohun Bagan’s manager in 2011, Reid has been England U-21 team’s manager and is known as a television expert.

He also managed England clubs Manchester City, Sunderland, Leeds United, Coventry City and Plymouth Argyle, besides the Thailand team.

Darby, a football expert for ESPN Star Sports, was head coach with Malaysian League club Kelatan and has extensive Asian experience following stints in Bahrain, Australia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
