Paulo Dybala scored but Juventus was held 1-1 at lowly Lecce on Saturday with the defending champion in danger of being overtaken by Inter Milan at the top of the Serie A table.

Both goals came from penalties with Dybala’s strike from the spot after 50 minutes cancelled out by Lecce’s Marco Mancosu’s effort six minutes later.

Juventus rested Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo after Tuesday’s Champions League win over Lokomotiv Moscow, and ahead of two Serie A matches in four days next week.

Promoted Lecce, a side from the heel of Italy, is struggling above the relegation zone, but managed to pull through for a precious point despite being dominated by the visitor.

Robert Lewandowski scored for a league-record ninth consecutive Bundesliga match as Bayern Munich scraped past promoted Union Berlin 2-1 on Saturday to reclaim top spot in the league.

Lewandowski, who has scored in every competitive game in the league, Champions League and German Cup this season for a total of 19 goals, netted his 13th league goal eight minutes after the restart for his new Bundesliga record.

Benjamin Pavard had volleyed in from 17 metres to put the host ahead in the 13th minute.

The Bavarians are top on 18 points, one ahead of Freiburg, which beat RB Leipzig 2-1.
