Hindustan Club posts win

Defending champion Hindustan Club edged past Indian Air Force (New Delhi) 2-1 in a group ‘Z' quarterfinal league match to keep its hopes alive for a semifinal berth in the DLF Delhi Soccer Association annual senior football championship at the Thyagaraj Nagar Sports Complex here on Saturday.

Hindustan scored through Roshan Chetri and Jagdeep Singh Jyoti while Sarvan Kumar reduced the margin.

In group ‘X', Shahdara and Royal Rangers drew 1-1. Harvinder Singh put Shahdara ahead while Royal Rangers equalised through Samson.
