South Korea will have to do without defender Kwak Tae-Hwi at the upcoming World Cup for injury reasons, the nation’s football federation announced on Monday.

Kwak suffered a knee injury in a tune-up match on Sunday against Belarus and is not fit to play at the June 11-July 11 tournament in South Africa. Coach Huh Jung-Moo has called up Kang Min-Soo in Kwak’s place.

Huh will announce his final 23-player squad on Tuesday. The team completes a training camp in Austria with a final test match against European champions Spain on Thursday. South Korea are in group B at the World Cup together with Argentina, Nigeria and Greece.
