Injured Cristiano Ronaldo says Real Madrid will keep improving despite a humiliating loss to a third-tier club in the first leg of the fourth round of the Copa del Rey.
Madrid has won only one of five games without the Portugal winger. On Tuesday, Madrid lost to Alcorcon 4-0.
Ronaldo, who will miss another two games with a right ankle injury, says the team has to “learn our lesson in the next matches and make sure we don’t underestimate any teams.”
He adds that the team is “conscious that we need to play better. The team will improve, the team will fight to win every competition.”
