Chelsea is not renewing the contract of injured German international Michael Ballack, the player’s manager said on Wednesday.
“We were unable to agree on further cooperation,” Ballack’s manager Michael Becker told DPA .
Ballack, who will miss the World Cup because of an ankle injury, will leave the Premier League club as a free agent.

A number of clubs have been linked to Ballack, including Real Madrid and Germany’s Werder Bremen.
