Tendulkar’s son Arjun assigned ball-boy duties

November 16, 2013 12:17 am | Updated 12:17 am IST - Mumbai:

Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun was assigned ball-boy duties on the second day of the ongoing Test against the West Indies at the Wankhede Stadium.

He watched the first day’s play with family members from the MCA president’s box and the Vithal Divecha pavilion.

After seeing his Mumbai under-14 teammates given the role of ball boys, Arjun impressed upon an MCA managing committee member to appoint him as a ball-boy so that he could be with his under-14 teammates.

“We made his accreditation card on Thursday evening,” said MCA treasurer Vinod Deshpande.
