Tendulkar wants bigger sightscreen

November 12, 2011 11:34 pm | Updated 11:34 pm IST - Kolkata:

Sachin Tendulkar on Saturday requested the Cricket Association of Bengal to increase the height of the sightscreen at the Eden Gardens.

Currently less than 19.6 feet, the sightscreen's lack of height has caused problems for Tendulkar in the past as he had difficulty sighting the ball.

The CAB officials aim to add another two feet to the sightscreen's height and are hoping the change will be effected in time for Sunday's practice session.
